Spreading the word about our awesome therapists.

Hi all! I thought I'd try something new and share some personal updates of what I've been working on to spread the word about Zencare.

One of my areas of focus recently has been to spread the word about Zencare to various mental health organizations. I'm actually terrified of "networking," so it's been a growth opportunity for me! I was fortunate to be meet wonderful people at NAMI RI, Mental Health Association RI, Rhode Island College Counseling Center, and NASW RI. I also attended the Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA) annual conference and learn more about the challenges of eating disorder treatment. It's incredible to see all the work being done in various areas of mental health (advocacy, education, treatment), and I think I speak for my team when I say we are honored to be a part of this community and movement. Thank you to everyone who invited me to your meetings and introduce Zencare to your staff.

I've also had the privilege of sharing my experience as a female entrepreneur at the Women Entrepreneurship at Brown Conference, and will be running a similar workshop ("How to Launch Your Business Today") at The Lady Project Summit. My co-work space, Social Enterprise Greenhouse, recently interviewed me for their podcast and asked, "Have you faced challenges as an Asian female entrepreneur in a world of mostly white, male founders?" I'm fortunate to be able to say that I haven't (at least so far!), and am super proud to be running a company that serves 80% female business owners. Go female private practice owners! We love supporting you!

On that note, a belated Happy International Women's Day, and have a fantastic March!

Yours truly,
Yuri
