Ourselves and Others: An Interpersonal Process Group

Description

Many individuals who seek group therapy feel lonely, disconnected, inauthentic and generally dissatisfied with their relationships. It can be difficult for them to feel close to others and to start and maintain healthy relationships. They might feel like they are not themselves and not performing up to their potential in personal or professional realms.

This group provides a confidential space for members to discuss, reflect, and receive feedback on the interpersonal dynamics present in their relationships with others. This group will help members increase their understanding of their own interpersonal style and how people impact one another, and aims to increase confidence, decrease anxiety in social situations, facilitate connectedness, and foster a sense of community. Members will work towards feeling empowered to explore new ways of relating both within the group and within their personal lives.

This group offers participants a chance to gain understanding of how you affect other people and how they perceive you, receive and offer support and feedback, experiment with new interpersonal behaviors or ways of relating to others and talk honestly and openly about feelings

If interested in joining this group, please contact Aaron Kaplan (Aaron@DrAaronKaplan.com or 617.340.9161) to schedule a brief informational meeting.
