I started this practice to give each individual I work with the time, attention, and empathy they deserve. With a trauma informed approach, I work to develop a therapeutic relationship built on mutual trust, respect, and understanding. I know that for many of you this relationship requires an anti-oppression practice that is identity affirming and empowering for whoever you are and whoever you might become and I am committed to that practice. You’ve been yourself your whole life and you probably know what works for you and what doesn’t and I want therapy to be something that works for you. If you are interested in learning more or are ready to make an appointment, then I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free phone consultation.
I am a clinical psychologist who has helped many people cope and manage their anxiety. I can provide you with concrete techniques to alleviate stress. Additionally, through our work together you will understand the dynamics and behaviors that contribute to your anxiety. Essentially, I can help you become more in touch with your thoughts and feelings. As a result, you will make decisions that make you feel in control, less stressed and more satisfied with life.
My background includes clinical training at Harvard Medical School, Yeshiva University and New York University.
What to do? Why therapy?
Do you want to feel less depressed, get relief from anxiety, create better relationships or find a more satisfying job–overall seek joy in your life—but don’t know how? The good news is you don’t have to know; we can discover how together.
I help people with difficult, painful life issues. But dealing with your problems is just the beginning. I am committed to emotional growth and development which goes beyond problem solving. It doesn’t matter whether you have an eating disorder or stage fright, or you’re a manic-depressive, obsessive-compulsive or an addict; it doesn’t matter whether, to your dismay, you find yourself married to a ‘stranger,’ or suffering the indignities of the ’boss from hell,’ you can grow.
In a supportive and challenging environment we improvise, create and perform being
both who we are and who we are becoming.
growing emotionally all our lives.
learning to fully listen to others and create our relationships.

Feeling overwhelmed? Anxious? Depressed?
I've been there.
Whether you're new to therapy or you're a seasoned veteran, beginning with a provider can seem daunting. My goal is to eliminate any reservations you might have, and to witness you write the narrative you want your life to emulate!
I follow mostly humanistic and existential approaches to treatment sessions. These approaches allow you to explore and find your innate ability to heal in the present moment. Also, they enable you to focus on how you can utilize your potential to make meaning of your life while finding wholeness within yourself.
Currently, I specialize in treating clients with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and dissociative disorders such as depersonalization and derealization.
In my personal and professional experience, mental well-being is improved through creating a safe, judgment-free space to express concerns, develop coping skills, and explore thoughts and feelings that contribute to our moods. I'm here to provide that space and help you navigate this explorative journey!
Thank you for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
In my work as a therapist, I focus on understanding early experiences and how psychological well-being can be fostered through relationships. I believe change and healing come through relationships: our relationships with ourselves, as well as our relationships with others. I view therapy as a collaborative process that allows both therapist and client to grow and change.
I practice primarily from a relational-dynamic perspective, though I incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative approaches to tailor treatment to the unique and individual needs of each client.
My clients describe me as an empathetic, active listener who approaches their concerns with caring, respect, pragmatism, and sometimes, humor. I'm honored that you're considering working with me and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

In therapy I provide an environment that will allow you to express yourself freely and openly. I am genuine and supportive, but can be direct and challenge you to adapt your thinking when necessary. I strive for my clients to feel more focused, emotionally regulated, and confident. I work with adults who are suffering from anxiety including OCD and panic, as well as depression, grief, and relationship issues.
My approach involves cognitive-behavioral therapy and emphasizes solution-focused techniques including building coping skills to better manage one’s emotions. I promote the use of mindfulness based techniques such as meditation and deep-breathing. My goal in treatment is to help my clients identify changes that will allow them to live a more positive life.
