United Paths is a boutique clinical practice that provides services to children, teenagers (13-18), young adults/college students, adults, parents, couples, families, and older adults.
Clinicians at United Paths utilize a number of treatment options, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and more.
In my work as a therapist, I focus on understanding early experiences and how psychological well-being can be fostered through relationships. I believe change and healing come through relationships: our relationships with ourselves, as well as our relationships with others. I view therapy as a collaborative process that allows both therapist and client to grow and change.
I practice primarily from a relational-dynamic perspective, though I incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative approaches to tailor treatment to the unique and individual needs of each client.
My clients describe me as an empathetic, active listener who approaches their concerns with caring, respect, pragmatism, and sometimes, humor. I'm honored that you're considering working with me and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I believe that the therapist’s ability to listen to the patients, and to see their underlying issues is one of the most important aspects that contribute to the patients insight and growth in the therapeutic process.
I believe that patient’s symptoms can’t be seen and treated in isolation, and is always important to understand how and when the symptoms have emerged and developed in a persons’s life.
In my practice I offer a welcoming setting and provide a safe space for your problems or difficulties.

Relationships can be very challenging and complicated both with others and ourselves. If you find yourself in a place questioning repetitive thoughts or feeling emotions that may be roadblocks for personal growth, therapy is an opportunity for you to explore and grow both personally and interpersonally. We are all made up of many parts and often times we have a couple parts of us, such as an angry part or anxious part, that we feel defined by. Often times these parts prevent us from living our truest and fullest selves. I promise to be fully present and committed in helping you understand these difficult parts and how they may be preventing you from feeling like yourself. I have a very interactive style and will work with you at a pace you are comfortable with to help you find peace and harmony with yourself and in your life.
My hope for you is that you are able to safely find new ways to explore, learn and heal through creative and holistic methodologies. I hold a space of safety and compassion with the utmost respect to you. I honor your journey and your own inner wisdom. And I see strength in vulnerability.
Therapy isn't always painful. At times there is discomfort, because you may be experiencing challenging and unpleasant emotions, but there is also laughter, strength and relief. I find sometimes people need a space to "breathe", "decompress," "find quiet", or learn how to spend time with themselves in ways that are rooted in wellness and promote their highest good.
Lastly, every therapist is different. This makes finding the "right fit" tricky. I get that. I encourage you to communicate what works and what doesn't. This allows me to better serve you and offers you an opportunity to take control over your own health and wellness. (If finding another therapist is needed, I can help there too.) I am open to challenges and welcome questions.
Seeking a therapist is the first step towards taking control of your life. Maybe you’re feeling pain, stress, frustration, or hopeless. You’re tired of pretending to be happy and sacrificing your own needs for the needs of others. Sometimes, you’re balancing so much you’re not sure what to tackle first.
I will guide you as you navigate the intricacies of life. In therapy, I emphasize empowerment, collaboration and honesty. In a world filled with xenophobia, I strive to honor your individuality and self-expression. My clients describe me as nurturing, empathetic, nonjudgmental, and sincere.
Whether you’re struggling with your mood, anxiety, family relationships, or your identity, I am here to help. I look forward to fostering a safe environment for us to speak freely and inspire change.
I provide individual psychotherapy to adults aged 18+ who are struggling with life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship conflicts and any issue that causes an imbalance in one’s life. I will help you develop the tools you need to gain insight, manage painful emotions, address behaviors that may be self-defeating, and increase your self confidence so that you can achieve a more fulfilling and joyful life. As your therapist, I will help you on your path towards being your best self - no matter your current struggles. Throughout my 24 years of practice, my clients consistently feel supported, understood, and are able to reach their goals.
You do not have to be alone in your struggles: therapy can provide support and help you build relationships. In a safe, non-judgmental environment, I can help you connect with your inner strength and build new skills to uncover your best self. I invite you to contact me to see if I am the right therapist for you.
