Zencare is a small women-led team doing big things in the mental health world - we are a marketplace that helps thousands of young adults, college students, and working professionals find their ideal talk therapist.
Zencare started as a solution to a common problem: it's really difficult to find a therapist online. Zencare streamlines the process and empowers therapy-seekers through up-to-date availability and insurance information, introductory videos, and a vetted network to ensure quality care.
About the role
Zencare is looking for an enthusiastic Therapist Outreach Lead to join our Business Development team, the driving force in company growth and revenue! We work tirelessly to build and enhance relationships with therapists who share our mission of increasing access to quality mental health care. You will drive exploratory conversations with potential therapist members, use your business acumen to identify how Zencare could help their practices grow, and successfully position the Zencare value proposition. You will also research prospective therapists, create outreach strategies, and identify new outreach opportunities. You will be the “human face” of Zencare to potential new members. Relationship building experience: 1-3 years of professional experience is a plus but not required.
In this role you will:
Be an evangelist of the Zencare solution: Wholeheartedly embrace the Zencare mission, crafting an explanation of what we do that is true to you, and enthusiastically educate therapists on the value of our solution.
Increase the therapist network through calls: Build relationships with prospective therapist members through outbound calls. Pose thoughtful questions to learn about their practice and confidently and thoughtfully navigate questions to gain buy-in.
Maintain therapist relationships: Brainstorm new and creative ways to maintain contact with previously contacted therapists, whether through events, newsletters, or follow up communication.
Find prospective therapists: Research and identify potential new therapists to contact through email and phone outreach.
Develop new inbound channels: Research and identify new opportunities to reach new therapists and spread the word about Zencare in the therapist community, including partnering with therapist associations, hosting dinners, and organizing networking events.
Collaborate with the team: Work closely and collaborate with team members to develop appropriate strategies, deepen relationships, and strengthen inbound channels.
Learn the ropes of business development: Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great relationship builder and leader, particularly in the healthcare space.

Compensation and benefits
$40K - $50K | 0.1% - 0.5% equity
Generous remote work and work from home days and unlimited vacation.
