Zencare is a small women-led team doing big things in the mental health world - we are a marketplace that helps thousands of young professionals and college students find their ideal talk therapist.

Zencare started as a solution to a common problem: it's really difficult to find a therapist online. Zencare streamlines the process and empowers therapy-seekers through up-to-date availability and insurance information, introductory videos, and a vetted network to ensure quality care.

About the role

Zencare is looking for an enthusiastic marketer with strong interpersonal skills to join its User Outreach team and become our Marketing & Partnerships Lead.

Your mission will be to help as many therapy seekers learn about Zencare as a resource for finding quality therapists — and ensure they successfully connect with providers on our platform!

You will build partnerships with referral organizations, test new grassroots marketing channels, and monitor the impact of ongoing outreach on referral-driven bookings. You will also provide client-therapist matching and support to ensure clients are able to successfully find and connect with therapists on our platform. Through your work, you will identify new opportunities for reaching clients and improving our product, and work collaboratively with the content and product teams to realize these changes.

We’re looking for a team member to own end-to-end responsibility for referral-driven community outreach and client success, from high level strategy through implementation and results tracking. As an evangelist of our mission and the face of the company, you will be a highly valued team member whose contributions shape the future of how people access quality mental healthcare!

  • Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience. Experience with partnerships, marketing, and social media are a plus but not required.

In this role you will:

  • Build partnerships with referral partners: Build relationships with key partners including universities, treatment centers, primary care physicians, other health care providers, holistic practitioners, and hospitals. Conduct outreach via email campaigns, calls, and in-person meetings. Continue to nurture relationships, gather feedback, and identify potential areas of product improvement.

  • Provide ongoing user support: Monitor our support account, respond to client inquiries, and fulfill therapist matching inquiries.

  • Gather user and partner feedback: Listen to users’ and partners’ feedback, concerns, and suggestions. Collaborate with other team members to implement recommendations, including product improvements, content ideas, and therapist outreach channels.

  • Plan and manage events: Plan multiple partnership and sponsored events across our markets. Travel as needed, with a home base in NYC. Assess effectiveness of events by type and geography. Determine the best conferences to attend and sponsorship opportunities to invest in, and build new partnerships through event attendance.

  • Manage ambassadors and interns: Manage brand ambassadors and interns to organize local tabling events, speaking engagements, and email outreach efforts.

  • Manage social media accounts: Design and run social media campaigns that generate engagement and build a community. Find new ways to use social media  develop Zencare’s brand and spark conversations about mental wellness and therapy. 

  • Assess effectiveness and optimize strategies: Research, design, and implement new outreach strategies and channels, and set up experiments to monitor their success. Analyze data to determine the effectiveness of different channels, and how to invest marketing budget.

  • Drive results: Demonstrate a marked increase in referral-driven website users and bookings across all geographies.

Compensation and benefits

  • Compensation: $40K - $50K per year & 0.0.5% - 0.1% equity

  • Generous remote work, work from home days, and vacation.
