HAWK & hummingbird provides opportunities for clients to utilize many of our services and be held and supported by multiple clinicians all working to serve clients individual needs. All clinicians are in constant collaboration with each other, leading clients to feel they are part of our HAWK & hummingbird family.

Natalie Monaghan, the founder and director of HAWK & hummingbird has extensive personal and professional experience in the treatment of eating disorders. She specializes in seeing clients who have chronic eating disorders and have tried traditional evidence based treatment programs and therapies, however continue to rely on their ED symptoms to manage emotionally. Humans need nurture and support; we don’t get enough. Our culture is all too focused on achievement and independence

Our culture tends to orient away from strong emotions, to avoid. Our work slows people down, invites them inward to say hi to themselves and bring awareness to what they are experiencing internally. We deepen and stay with the emotions in a safe vortex of our connected relationship that’s been established.

As we stay with the emotions mindfully, we are able to understand more and more about the core material and patterns that are causing people suffering. We begin to identify missing experiences that people have and provide new ones that satisfy developmental and attachment needs. We work to integrate new experiences in session which becomes lasting and transformative change.

How does payment work at your practice?

At HAWK & hummingbird Healing, we are out-of-network providers with our fees ranging from $105-$350 depending on the provider and services offered. We are happy to provide a superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance for potential partial reimbursement depending on your health plan.
