The group is a skills-based group and is for adults 18+ yrs old. Group members will learn skills to improve attention and concentration, organization, decision-making, impulsivity, prioritizing, planning, procrastination, and goal-setting, among others. The feedback from past group participants continues to be overwhelmingly positive and participants have improved their management of ADHD symptoms by up to 55% over the 12 weeks.
Dr. MacKinnon is currently recruiting for the group starting February 2018.

Dr. Selene MacKinnon is a clinical psychologist with particular specialty in ADHD for young adults and adults. She offers both individual and group therapy for ADHD, including groups on organizational skills, overcoming procrastination, and time management. Dr. MacKinnon also enjoys working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety (including social anxiety and panic attacks), depression, and grief and loss.Dr. MacKinnon strives to create both an organized and caring environment in order to provide her clients with the best skills to handle life's challenges and achieve their full potential. She works at the group practice RICBT in East Providence, providing support and skills using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
