Description

This group is designed for adolescents 13 - 17 years old as an 8 session commitment. Together we will explore communication, relationship building, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills. We will provide a peer-supported, interactive approach to sorting through social challenges and building connections with others. The group will utilize various media and therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Dates

Every Wednesday, 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
Begins November 2nd, 2016 for 8 sessions.
This is an 8 session commitment.

Cost

There are 3 options for group therapy payments:
(1) $120 - 8 session punch card
(2) $65 - 4 session punch card
(3) $20 - single session pay-as-you-go punch card

Please note this is an 8 session commitment.
All punchcards are non-refundable and expire 6 months from the day of purchase.
Please note participants cannot use their insurance for this group.

Group Therapist

Leela Foley, LICSW and Hallie Riggs, LCSW - Leela Foley is the owner and clinician at From the Ground Up Wellness Center in Greenville, RI. She received her Masters of Social Work from Boston College and has worked extensively in outpatient, inpatient, and hospital settings. In addition to her private practice, Leela serves as an emergency clinician at Rhode Island / Hasbro Hospital's Emergency Department. She is also a clinician at the Emma Pendleton Bradley Hospital. Leela has expertise in anxiety disorders, particularly obsessive compulsive disorder, educational/ social skills obstacles, substance abuse, LGBTQQ topics, and crisis situations like trauma or suicidality.
