Dr. Gold Okoeka is a doctorally trained psychiatric NP who focuses solely on medication management services. She is licensed to prescribe psychiatric medications safely and thoughtfully as well as provide supportive psychotherapy during follow up sessions.

Dr. Okoeka provides medication management services to children, adolescents and adults who struggle with psychiatric conditions ranging from depression, anxiety, ADHD, stress and trauma related conditions, PTSD, bipolar disorder and many more, anywhere in Rhode Island. Dr. Okoeka has about 9 years of psychiatric/mental health experience, in various roles, working in outpatient clinics, nursing homes as well as inpatient psychiatry at the state’s level one trauma hospital, Rhode Island Hospital.

I am a doctorally trained psychiatric NP who is board certified to treat patients from ages 5 y/o and up for all types of psychiatric conditions. I can help you find medications that work, monitor progress, side effects and provide brief supportive therapy as well.
