Heather Mueller, NP is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Social Anxiety, School Phobia, Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Parent Management and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She also sees clients for substance use concerns and personality disorders.
Clients may visit Heather when they’re not sure whether to start medication, and come to her for her counsel on the best course of treatment. For some, medication may be the right path; others may prefer talk therapy or executive functioning coaching. Still others may prefer a combination of different treatments.
Heather cares deeply about providing the best possible care to each of her clients. As such, she prefers not to prescribe medications in her first session with clients; she is also flexible on the duration of return visits, depending on the client’s needs and schedule.
Heather’s practice is located at Integrated Psychiatry of Manhattan, in the Flatiron District close to Gramercy and Union Square, where she looks forward to meeting you.
