Professional statement

Arielle Lipset is a primary therapist specializing in the treatment of eating and feeding disorders and co-occurring disorders such as panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression. She is passionate in her work, empowering adolescents and young adults to make the changes necessary to achieve their goals and work towards a life worth living. As a therapist, her practice is focused on meeting each client where they’re at with a non-judgmental stance. In doing so, she provides a safe and nurturing environment for people to share their lived experiences and work towards recovery.

Arielle obtained her Masters in Social Work at NYU Silver School of Social Work and has experience in an array of settings working with a diverse population of clients. She is trained in various treatment modalities including but not limited to CBT and DBT. In her work, she adopts a blend of approaches catered to each individual client and creates a personalized treatment plan to help each client reach their treatment goals. Arielle uses a strengths-based approach to treatment, working with clients to recognize their strengths while validating their struggles.

Message to clients

I understand that life can be chaotic and, at times, feel difficult to navigate. It's my passion to work alongside clients in navigating whatever comes their way and to work through past experiences that allow them to enhance the present. My practice is centered in the belief that every client can become the best version of themselves and I treat clients with the utmost compassion and empathy. As my client, you will learn skills and tools that help you thrive in all domains of your life.

I recognize that every person holds unique experiences, strengths, and nuances and therefore, I craft an individualized approach to treatment. I also know the difficulty in finding a therapist that doesn't just dole out advice or consider you a product of X or Y diagnosis. My purpose isn't to tell you what to do or tell you who you are. It's to collaborate with you in order to achieve real life results.
