Dovid Meshchaninov MS, LPCC, SEP is a holistic psychotherapist with a focus on childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, sexuality, and addiction. Dovid is also a certified Somatic Experiencing Trauma therapist, a fellow at Trauma and Beyond Psychological Services, and a Craniosacral Therapist. Dovid enjoys working with adults who are looking for a therapeutic approach that addresses their core issues and can help them access true relief and increased quality of life.
Dovid combines classic psychotherapy techniques with cutting edge trauma informed techniques for optimal results. During sessions, clients explore their challenges and come to understand themselves and their triggers more clearly. In addition, using techniques from mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and Craniosacral Therapy, Dovid interweaves somatic and experiential elements that invite clients to connect more mindfully and somatically to themselves and the issues at hand. By accessing this level of mindful and somatic presence, clients begin healing past wounds, creating new affirming narratives, and access a sense of safety.
Dovid’s psychotherapy practice combines his training, professional experience, and sense of compassion to create a truly supportive and healing experience. Dovid is highly effective with both individuals and couples and offers in person and video sessions. Dovid is available for a free 10-minute consultation call for all new perspective clients.
