Dr. Jada Philips is a licensed clinical psychologist via telehealth in New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, and Delaware who works with adults individuals, with a focus on professional men and women. Many of her clients are professionals who tend to be engrossed in their everyday lives, often forgetting how to take care of themselves and put themselves first. Her clients are also big thinkers, dreamers, and decision makers who sometimes find themselves held back by painful experiences of the past. Dr. Philips treats old wounds with curiosity, creativity, and compassion, creating an opportunity for clients to move with greater freedom into their bright future.

Many of Dr. Philips’ clients navigate feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression that have become overwhelming, and impact how they show up at work and in relationships. She works with clients to explore core beliefs about themselves, others, co-creating practical strategies tailored to each client and their life journey.

She draws from her training in EMDR, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)/Tapping, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and brainspotting strategies in order to expand clients’ internal and external resources for healing, rest, and joy. Self-care is a key component.

Dr. Philips’s first priority in starting with a new client is ensuring that they feel safe, heard, and like an equal partner in the therapeutic process. As a telehealth provider, she offers the convenience of remote sessions to help make therapy a core component of your self-care calendar.

I know it's so helpful to find someone who you can just be yourself for an hour a week, talk about all the things that are important to you, and not have to feel judged. Working with me offers a safe, non-judgemental space to help you explore and guide you through your challenges, and learn ways to overcome them.

I have found that when we collaborate as partners in treatment is when we find success. My style is matched to each individual as we partner together to help you cope, thrive, and become who you want to be. My treatment approach is centered on the person as a whole. I believe in treatment that individualizes a person’s experience and incorporates clinical and holistic lifestyle choices to make every person feel whole again.I seek to help you want to feel like yourself again. I seek to help you want to learn how to get past the negative, and live the life you've always wanted. I am here to help you to feel safe, secure, carefree, and excited about everything you have going on.
