Jill offers a strength-based, empathic, and collaborative approach when working with clients. This includes providing EMDR Therapy as well as utilizing other trauma informed approaches, such as DBT and Trauma Focused-CBT. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in San Diego, she has been working with individuals and families impacted by trauma for 15 years. Her focus and interest in trauma work began when she was a counselor at a domestic violence/sexual assault crisis agency in Sacramento in 2005. She has an extensive background in trauma and mental health in a multitude of roles, including as an advocate, therapist, clinical supervisor, and program director for survivors of trauma.
