Message to clients

Perhaps you are feeling depressed or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or feeling that something is missing from our life. You might be looking to break out of unhealthy patterns that are keeping you stuck.

As a therapist, my role is to provide support and guidance in the service of meaningful change. Therapy has the potential to heal old wounds, build on our strengths and promote a greater sense of joy and well-being.

I will draw on my experience with different treatment approaches to help you move toward your goals. I have a background in psychodynamic therapy, CBT and DBT, and I also use mind-body interventions. My style is warm, empathic and interactive.

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse

Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating

Loss, grief, and bereavement - Emotionally preparing for the anticipated passing of a loved one; managing feelings and reactions to a death or loss of significance; support during the process of healing and acceptance

Spirituality & religion - Exploring beliefs and practices related to meaning, existence, and spiritual health and healing; enjoying a deeper felt connection with the spiritual dimension of one's life
