Kimberly Fournier is a clinical social worker in Connecticut. Kimberly authentically connects with clients struggling with a number of difficulties, such as depression, self-worth, relationship issues, anxiety, and parenting. She also holds a particular interest in helping clients navigate women’s issues.
Kimberly deeply understands that in this day and age, there is an enormous amount of pressure placed on all of us to be “successful” at work, school, relationships – it’s expected that we struggle balancing the weight of it all and grieve when life knocks us down. It is Kimberly's belief that life is challenging for everyone at one time or another, and it is her sincere hope is to use the skills she has acquired in her training to help you move forward. Utilizing CBT and DBT along with a Strengths-Based lens, she teaches her clients the connections between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors as well as how to tolerate uncomfortable feelings more successfully.
Having worked in both outpatient and intensive in-home settings, along with numerous school settings, Kimberly has a wide-range of experience with adults, adolescence and children. She is comfortable navigating therapy via telehealth and her office is centrally located in Glastonbury, CT across from the Pier 1 plaza.
