Mallory Hepp is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has extensive experience working with eating disorders, body image issues, OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. She also works with challenging relational dynamics in couples and families.
Operating from a client-centered, empowering perspective, Mallory seeks to know you in a rich and meaningful way in order to best support your therapeutic goals. As a relational therapist, Mallory focuses on building community and reconnecting in relationships as an important aspect of healing from almost any issue. Using an eclectic approach, Mallory employs Narrative Therapy, CBT, DBT, Exposure Response Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques that are suited to a client's unique problem and preferences in order to best serve her clients.
Mallory has built her expertise by treating clients in a variety of settings, including inpatient, PHP and IOP eating disorder treatment programs, as well as outpatient therapy. She has supportively counseled clients through some of the toughest eating problems and co-occuring issues, such as anxiety, addiction, depression, trauma and complicated family dynamics. Mallory is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).
Mallory's office is centrally located in Encino, CA, on Balboa Boulevard and is conveniently accessible from the 101 Freeway. Her office features valet parking for a fee during typical Monday- Friday business hours and free parking on evenings and weekends. In addition to her office location, Mallory offers remote sessions for California residents by video or phone. Mallory currently has weekday, weekend and evening availability.
