Message to clients

If you aren’t feeling like yourself, or perhaps are trying to figure out who “yourself” is, you aren't alone. Maybe you’ve become distant from your friends and family, can’t seem to focus on work or school, and are constantly worrying about the future. All of this has left you feeling overwhelmed and consumed by your thoughts, and in need of support. The first step in tackling all of this is finding the right therapist, which I can understand can be intimidating and unfamiliar.

Within my practice, I value and incorporate collaboration, warmth, humor, and willingness to step out of one’s comfort zone. As your therapist, I’ll help you identify and shift emotions, thoughts, and patterns that are keeping you stuck. My goal is to broaden self-awareness, give you the tools to deal with future challenges, and guide you in achieving wellness and a more positive sense of self.

As an Indian-American, I understand the struggles that come with navigating cross-cultural and intergenerational dynamics. Trying to balance two cultures, and life in general, can often bring up feelings frustration, sadness, and guilt. Together we can find a healthy and peaceful balance between your upbringing and personal autonomy.

Therapy is a unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself and others, and I hope to build a meaningful connection with you from which you grow. If you think I may be a good fit, please reach out for a free phone or video consultation.
