Rinat Lustig is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers telehealth sessions to adults across New York, New Jersey, and Florida, as well as in-person sessions in Coral Springs, FL. Rinat specializes in working with people who struggle to connect with significant others, friends, family, and colleagues, whether that’s through explicit conflict or just not feeling close in authentic relationships. Rinat focuses on building emotional resilience, self-regulation, and decision-making skills, and helps people feel more confident and in touch with their feelings and true self.
Rinat’s approach to therapy draws from a combination of psychodynamic therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach often used with people with personality disorders, trauma backgrounds, and relationship conflicts. Through guided reflection, Rinat helps clients to integrate their past with their present and future, their hidden self with the way they present. From a more integrated place, Rinat teaches people how to take different perspectives on issues, ”check the pulse of their feelings,” and regulate their emotions.
Rinat’s ultimate goal is for clients to become their own therapists, by learning how to self-reflect and developing strong coping skills to use in times of distress. She empowers clients to listen to their emotions and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, needs, and desires, so they can feel more confident in their relationship and life choices.
Rinat has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. She is passionate about providing mental health care for clients of all backgrounds and identities. She is a sensitive, compassionate listener who aims to help clients feel more secure and authentic within their own self and with others.
