In both professional and personal contexts, the importance of relational intelligence is gaining global recognition. In this group, concepts such as emotional intelligence and mindfulness will be used to help members balance professional and personal goals, self awareness and empathy, effectiveness, and authenticity. This group is especially well-suited for professionals who want to increase their capacity for intimacy while coping with high visibility and high stress in their careers. Members value a wellness oriented model of growth which is free from the constraints of "medically necessary" psychotherapy linked to insurance protocols. They are especially interested in learning more about their reactions to others when dealing with conflict, competition, loss, and transition. Interpersonal at its core, the group's most challenging and rewarding work occurs through effective feedback to relational events as they occur in the "here and now" personal encounter.
