I believe that in therapy, we use the relationship between client and therapist to address the challenges you bring to our sessions. This involves telling your story and relating it back to the context of the therapeutic relationship. It is within these relational patterns that develop in the counseling relationship that allow you to gain a better awareness of yourself and greater insight into the nature of your challenges. Together, we process those challenges in session, through story and relationship, to provide you with the tools to prosper outside of session.

Due to the current global pandemic, my practice is completely telehealth, over video chat. I currently do not bill insurance, but can provide support around out-of-network reimbursement. It is one way I can assure the highest degree of privacy, flexibility and control of mental health records. My current rate is $150.00 for a 50 minute individual session. I am currently offering sliding scale, for active students, with limited availability.

Feel free to email or call me with any questions!

All you need to bring to therapy is an open mind and a willingness to explore. I am a very interactive therapist; I give a lot of feedback and guidance. In my work with individuals, I help people see how they developed the coping skills and defense mechanisms they did, and how to begin recognizing them in a less judgmental way. I also teach couples new communication skills: how to rebuild trust and safety after a breach, how to mirror one another, ways to validate and empathize. We work on breaking bad patterns and create healthier ones using positivity and appreciations.

It's so rewarding to help children, couples and families heal old and current wounds, and to see my clients use therapy as a way to soar to new emotional freedoms. Please don't be in pain anymore: contact me so we can set goals together, develop healthier ways of coping, and watch you blossom

Does it feel like you and your partner have gotten into a negative spiral of conflict and distance?

Everyone starts out in a relationship excited and hopeful. You envision a bright future full of love, romance, passion, and connection. Yet somewhere along the way things changed. Maybe it’s an ongoing issue that divides you– work/life balance, difference in beliefs about money, children, parenting– that pulls you and your mate apart. Other times, the stress and effort of raising children while maintaining a career leaves little time for nurturing your love connection, or your friendship (if you even still have one).

The distance between you and your mate seems so huge and the path back to connection is hard to see. You may find yourself feeling lonely, disconnected, hurt and constantly anxious. You wonder if the two of you will ever rekindle the spark that brought you together in the first place.

When you work with me, you and your partner will explore what may be causing conflict to flare, learn new tools and strategies to approach intimate communication differently so you can tap into authenticity and experience more joy and connection on a daily basis. I serve as a compassionate and non-judgmental witness and guide to your shared experience. I walk alongside both of you so you can move towards personal healing, renewed friendship, connection, and love.
