Jennifer DiBello is a Registered Dietitian at Be Collaborative Care in Providence, Rhode Island. She is an expert in helping clients recover from eating disorders through a collaborative, team-based approach. In addition to nutrition therapy, Jennifer also offers meal planning for diabetes and gestational diabetes management.
Jennifer’s philosophy is grounded in an approach known as intuitive eating, in which she teaches clients to become more attuned to their body’s natural hunger needs and to develop a healthier relationship with food.
Jennifer is passionate about developing a therapeutic relationship with her clients, gently guiding them away from self-destructive behaviors and building in practices of self-compassion. She provides a safe space to help each client challenge constrictive beliefs and work toward meaningful change.
Eating disorders – Reducing unhealthy eating patterns, beliefs, and behaviors, such as restricting and purging; healing the emotional pain surrounding disordered eating
Binge eating disorder – Helping individuals identify negative thinking patterns and unhelpful behaviors that contribute to binges
Intuitive eating – Instilling a healthy relationship with food, in which the the individual follows the body's internal cues rather than external dietary regimens
Non-diet approach to wellness – All bodies welcome model; promoting healthy self-care behaviors; helping individuals who have tried other methods of wellness that have not worked for them
Diabetes and gestational diabetes management – Navigating a new diagnosis; ongoing dietary support to promote wellness

Treatment approachesInterpersonal Therapy (IPT)Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) is a time-limited psychotherapy that focuses on interpersonal issues, which are understood to be a factor in the genesis and maintenance of psychological distress.
