Practice Information

At Mayamotion Healing, we believe in the power of holistic well-being. We are on a transformative journey, driven by a powerful purpose: to heal the hearts, minds, and communities of today's world. Our mission is simple yet profound - to ignite healing, empower change, and champion justicia.

Our deep cultural competency ensures therapy is tailored to each client's cultural background, intersectionality, and lived experience. We incorporate Indigenous healing practices and knowledge that is guided by the wisdom of our elders, the mentoring of our ancestors, and our spiritual comadres.

Our goal is to redefine the narratives, systems, and experiences impacting our BIPOC communities. To reclaim Indigenous practices, foster a collective perspective, and promote political consciousness, creating a space where individuals and communities find healing, empowerment, a sense of belonging, and cultura.

Insurance Disclaimer:

Billing the insurance companies require a psychiatric diagnosis to qualify for a treatment to be ‘medically necessary’. As a permanent health record, this diagnosis may have a life long impact for youth & adults ranging from school treatment, insurance coverage & more. I don’t want an insurance company, who doesn’t know you, to make decisions about our work together. However, if you wish to utilize insurance for services, we will explore how to do so together. In addition, I am able to provide a statement upon request for you to submit to your insurance company. Please carefully review your coverage to find out more information about your mental health benefits and any requirements from your insurance company. To do this, I will be required to provide a diagnosis for you, and we will discuss this together.
