Practice Information

We are a group of clinicians dedicated to servicing clients where they are. We use different treatment modalities, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, TF-CBT, ACT, etc. to aid clients in their journey to recovery. We do difficult work with our clients in processing the past, present, and fears of the future like working in the vineyards. However, we provide caring, compassionate support like being shielded from hard hitting rays of the sun by canopies. Hence, we are Of Vineyards and Canopies Therapy Services.

We are all of different backgrounds and bring different experiences to our virtual therapy room sessions. We have a therapist trained in psychoanalysis, which provides a great approach in regards to existential thinking and struggles with purpose and design. We also have a therapist that is passionate about parents and wants to offer support to both primary parts of the family unit - parents and children. Another has experience in working with families, who have watched their parents and loved ones struggle with Alzheimer's and dementia. We are clinicians from different walks of life, but who are striving to assist you bear the fruit you want to see in your life.

We are excited to get to learn more about you and how we can support you on life's journey in a non-judgmental, safe environment. Although we do not know you yet, you are very important to us and we want to help you achieve your goals.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Of Vineyards and Canopies Therapy services works with individuals, couples, and families in Illinois, Virginia, and Texas. We will be expanding to a few other states in the future. We want to be able to be where our help is needed. We see children primarily of the ages 12 and up and we work with adults of all ages. Collectively, there is almost no presenting condition (i.e. depression, anxiety, life adjustments, acculturation, trauma, personality disorders, substance use issues, adoption, etc.) that we have not come across. However, it is important that you know and we know that we are good fit for you. Your care is important, so if we are not the right fit for you, it is okay to have that discussion. Let us help you find what you are looking for.

What are your practice's specialties?

As stated above, we work with a plethora of presenting conditions. Each of us have our own specialties, which makes our practice quite diverse. We continue to educate ourselves and stay abreast of new research in our individual specialties in order to provide quality care to all of our clients.

Why should I choose your practice?

At Of Vineyards and Canopies Therapy Services, we strive to make you feel comfortable while challenging experiences and thoughts that may be plaguing you. We do it by creating a safe environment even though we are online. We engage you in discussion, so that you can feel free to let all that you are holding out regardless of it being a slow and gradual process or space to dump and process. We strive for integrity and to truly meet people where they are at. Although therapy is not about us, we are happy to see our clients grow even if it is by baby steps, because every step counts.

How does payment work at your practice?

Of Vineyards and Canopies Therapy Services currently accepts BCBS, Cigna, and Optum/United Healthcare. Some clinicians can see Medicare as well. also take self-pay clients. Individuals are $175 and families and couples are $200. Please speak to your individual therapist about our sliding scale and payment plan options. If you are out of network, we would be happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, but please check first with your insurance company to verify their policy with out of network providers.
