THE PROWELLNESS ACADEMY

Throughout California, The Professional Wellness Academy (PWA) provides focused, integrated Counseling Treatment Programs (OCTPs) for Individual patients, County Facilities, School Districts and CA Colleges, Insurance EAP Groups, Hospitals, and physician’s patients suffering with Mental Wellness, Psychosocial and Substance Use Disorder needs. ProWellness Academy has office locations in most major cities and also provides seamless Hipaa Compliant TELEHEALTH software for the home bound; we are committed to evidence-based, “Whole Approach” to treatment that incorporates multidisciplinary modalities. Hand-in-hand with our professional network of therapists, counselors, physicians, and case managers; we pursue excellence, integrity, and a commitment to patient-centered psychological counseling and care.

TYPE OF COUNSELING WE DO

Some common evidenced based, behavioral wellness modalities for our OUD patients with co-occurring disorders include:

• Cognitive-behavioral therapy teaches individuals in treatment to recognize and stop negative patterns of thinking and behavior. For instance, cognitive-behavioral therapy might help a person be aware of the stressors, situations, and feelings that lead to negative behaviors or emotions.

• Contingency management is designed to provide incentives to reinforce positive behaviors.

• Motivational enhancement therapy helps people tools to build motivation and commit to specific plans to engage in treatment and seek mental solace in recovery. It is often used early in the process to engage people in treatment.

• Spiritual awareness & or aspects of 12-step facilitation therapy seeks to guide and support engagement

In addition, many forms of counseling ProWellness Academy provides, are tailored to specific cultural, religious and gender needs for several various populations.

ProWellness Academy has mental health specialist available for ALL your mental health and addiction counseling needs. Our group of clinicians specialize in a variety of areas including, (but not limited to) Various degrees of Anxiety, Depression, Grief, and Trauma. We have specialist that bring over 20 years of experience, and several work specifically with ages 5-25; and cognitive neuro-psychology and therapies for ages 50-90. On a daily basis we work with individuals, and family to bring peace and resolve to their circumstances.

How does payment work at your practice?

ProWellness Academy accepts most major Health Insurance plans. We are also a direct provider with Medicare. Our intake team will work with you to confirm your specific Insurance coverage and or your best Method of payment for your circumstance. We have in house claims processors that work direct with your Insurance company to assure your maximum coverage with the least out of pocket for our services.

Our Insurance Bill rate is: $210/session. Our cash pay rate is on a sliding scale and it is dependent on the client's age and circumstances - children/teens have lowest available rate.
