Practice Information

We specialize in helping mothers navigate postpartum challenges, anxiety, overwhelm, and the identity shifts that often come with motherhood.

What if motherhood didn’t have to feel so heavy? At Reclaiming Our Wellness, we support mothers navigating anxiety, burnout, identity loss, and the emotional challenges of motherhood—whether early postpartum or years in. We specialize in helping women feel more grounded, connected, and like themselves again. Our approach is trauma-informed and integrates evidence-based therapy with nervous system regulation and mind-body awareness. We also understand the impact motherhood has on identity and emotional wellbeing, including difficult or traumatic birth experiences. You don’t have to navigate this transition alone.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

We provide individual therapy for mothers navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, identity loss, and life transitions during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. We also support mothers processing difficult or traumatic birth experiences and challenges adjusting to motherhood.

Our work focuses on emotional regulation, nervous system support, and reconnecting with identity and self in a sustainable way. Sessions are trauma-informed and tailored to your needs, helping you feel more grounded, supported, and present in daily life.

We also offer group therapy and wellness-based programs designed to help mothers feel connected, supported, and less alone in their experiences.

What are your practice's specialties?

We specialize in supporting mothers through the emotional and psychological transitions of motherhood, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, identity loss, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. We also work with women processing difficult or traumatic birth experiences, as well as those navigating ongoing stress, relationship changes, and the shift in identity that can come with becoming a parent. Our focus includes maternal mental health, anxiety disorders, life transitions, and trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on helping clients feel more grounded, emotionally regulated, and connected to themselves again.

Why should I choose your practice?

We understand that motherhood can feel both deeply meaningful and unexpectedly overwhelming, often at the same time. We offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with yourself beyond the demands of caregiving. Our approach is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based therapy, with a focus on emotional regulation, nervous system support, and identity restoration. We don’t just focus on symptoms—we support the whole experience of who you are becoming through this transition. Mothers choose us because they feel seen, understood, and supported in both their healing and their return to themselves.

How does payment work at your practice?

We accept both insurance and private pay. For clients using insurance, we will verify benefits prior to starting services and bill your insurance directly when applicable. Private pay clients may pay at the time of service using credit, debit, or HSA/FSA accounts when eligible. We are happy to help you understand your coverage and out-of-pocket costs so you can make an informed decision before beginning care. Please reach out with any questions about insurance participation or payment options.
