Dr. Alexander Sheppe is a board-certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist in New York City. He specializes in helping clients navigate a range of issues including anxiety, depression, work stress, personality disorders, and relationship concerns. His practice is open to adults across the lifespan, as well as adolescents and children ages 6 and up.
In addition to providing medication management, Dr. Sheppe is an expert in psychotherapy approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and offers therapy sessions to his clients.
Dr. Sheppe attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, completed his Residency in Adult Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine, and completed his Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine.
