Message to clients

I believe that the most effective mental health support evolves from understanding all facets of a person’s life including the nuances of their relationships, health concerns, work-life balance, and life stressors, among others. Treatment should be a collaborative process and, I believe, should include a variety of integrated approaches that when used together help people to heal and grow. This may include developing self-care practices, mindfulness approaches, therapy and medication support when needed.

As a woman and mother I feel connected to working with women who may be struggling in a variety of ways that aren’t always addressed in traditional mental health treatment. I’ve seen people close to me struggle with navigating relationships and life transitions, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, complex emotions related to becoming mothers, and postpartum anxiety and depression, to name a few, and I’ve seen them unsure of where to turn for support. My hope is to provide a nurturing environment to help support you through all of the varied challenges that may arise.
