Abelee is a licensed independent clinical social worker.

She works with adults of all ages from 18 to 100, with the rooted understanding that we are ever changing and growing as humans.

Her therapy approach is eclectic, drawing upon various aspects of cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic methods to create her own custom-made approach to fit your needs. The therapy offered is grounded in the understanding that a secure relationship with oneself and others is a basic foundation for health. She practices a humanistic method that takes a positive view of human nature and emphasizes the uniqueness of the individual. She believes that the labels we give ourselves are only helpful when they bring peace and understanding. She has a grounding in mindfulness, meditation, and somatic experiencing, with a goal of helping you feel connected to your body, heart, and soul.

She is body positive, kink positive, LGBTQ affirmative and ethical non-monogamy friendly.

Message to clients

You deserve a life where you feel joy, peace, and freedom. One of the bravest things we can do as humans is to ask for help. However, therapy does not need to feel scary or painful. I hope to help you connect to and trust your own inner wisdom and strength.

Together we can face life’s complexities that you wrestle with and use them as the seeds for growth and transformation. Many people today are struggling to successfully navigate their lives while facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, family/relationship conflicts, and all the stresses that living in the 21st century can bring. I want to help you get to a place where you feel able to deal with life on life's terms, and to find meaning/purpose in work, family, friendships, spirituality, and all other life areas.

I enjoy working with clients who are focused on personal growth, healing, and self-discovery. I want you to feel heard and accepted so that you can discover more fully who you are and how you want to be in relationship with others and yourself. I provide you a safe, respectful, and confidential space, and time to connect.
