Professional statement

I received my Master of Social Work from the New York University Silver School of Social Work. While at NYU, I completed my clinical internships at IVDU Boys’ School, a high school for Orthodox Jewish young men with developmental disabilities, and Bleuler Psychotherapy Center, an outpatient mental health clinic for children, adolescents, and adults.

I have experience treating anxiety, depression, and panic disorder as well as personality disorders and eating disorders. My most commonly used skills in my practice come from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT.

I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples in group homes, schools, and clinics. I take a strengths-based and client-centered approach towards all clients to create a safe and nurturing environment for treatment.
