Alisha is a licensed clinical social worker and has over 10 years of experience working in a number of different settings with individuals of all ages. Currently she offers services to adults 18+, with a heavy focus on maternal mental health and individuals managing life transitions and changes. Alisha often sees clients who are looking for an extra level of support to reconnect with themselves, learn healthy coping strategies, and process the anxiety/stress/depressive symptoms that have begun to impact their day to day functioning. The reason for these symptoms can range from infertility, postpartum DX, a break-up, singleness, a move or job change, relationship stress or simply preventative work for handling future challenges.
Alisha uses a collaborative client centered approach in her work, and is also well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and incorporates that into a lot of her treatment. Gaining more insight and understanding into how our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected re-establishes a sense of power and control over one’s life that anxiety and depression often make us believe is gone. Alisha is also certified in working with perinatal mood disorders, and postpartum adjustment.
Alisha is currently living in South Florida, but is licensed in NY, KY, IN and FL.
