Allison enjoys working with all ages of adults within individual therapy. Allison’s approach to providing therapeutic services is based on the unique needs of each individual. Making sure therapy is collaborative and growth oriented is important to Allison. Therefore, she utilizes an integrative approach to treatment, with emphasis on person-centered and cognitive behavioral strategies. It is through this combination of therapy approaches that an individual receiving therapy feels heard, understood, and begins to make positive change in thinking and behavioral patterns in daily life. Allison welcomes all individuals, whether it be LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, or other marginalized groups.
Individual therapy sessions are offered remotely at this time for safety and convenience. Therapy is conducted via a secure video platform. This platform also offers various features to make logistic aspects of appointments manageable. These include paperless exchange of documents, online scheduling, and appointment reminders.
