Amita Khare is a marriage and family therapist based in Sacramento. Amita offers both in-person and telehealth sessions for people living in California. Amita is particularly passionate about serving women, young adults, children, and families. Amita has helped children and families who are battling increased anxiety, depression, and behavior issues due to the pandemic.
Amita is trained in Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). By learning mindfulness techniques clients find peace and balance in their life. Clients are able to leave their past behind and focus on creating the life they love. Amita provides practical tools that clients can use every day to help them change their behavior.
