Professional statement

Dr. Ashley Junghans-Rutelonis, PhD, LP is a clinical psychologist in teletherapy private practice in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is able to serve clients in 34 states. Her private practice focuses on the mental health needs of women in their personal and professional lives. In her individual work, she partners with women as they move towards their values and learn how these values can shape their lives. She encourages positive forward momentum while also creating space to breathe and confide.

Her practice includes three areas of expertise: therapy, assessment, and coaching.

*Therapy Services include behavioral change, burn-out, stress, perfectionism, anxiety, grief, depression, perinatal mood disorders (OCD, anxiety, depression), mothers with children who have chronic illness, mindfulness, Central Nervous System relaxation skills for chronic pain, and sleep difficulties (including insomnia).

*Assessment includes ADHD, Executive Functioning, Career Strengths, Leadership Development, and clarifying mental health diagnoses.

*Coaching includes ADHD coaching for young adults transitioning to college and graduate school, organizational/time management skills for adults, leadership skills, career development, and goals+values coaching.

As an evidenced-based clinician, Dr. Junghans-Rutelonis uses an individualized approached to help clients identify intrinsic motivation (or their "why"), learn new skills, and then move forward using their strengths. Ultimately, she is there to support women as they determine how to be active participants in their own lives.

Message to clients

Work-life integration, while always challenging, has become increasingly more difficult. Research shows women continue to carry more than their fair share, even when they have help from a partner. I have been working with women for over a decade to find the good that is already present in their lives and discuss where their values are leading them.

All services begin with a phone call fit assessment. Fit is the most important part of a therapy relationship and is determined by how you feel when we meet. If the fit feels right, next steps are setting up a 60 minute meeting where we determine the purpose, focus, and context of coaching or therapy. We set a plan for how often we will meet, set specific goals, and schedule next steps.

Please reach out to discuss the assessment and testing process. We begin with a phone call and discuss assessment course/cost.
