Carmen is a psychotherapist practicing in New York City. She has a Master's degree in clinical social work from New York University. She works with individuals on issues of anxiety and depression, and uses an insight-oriented approach to help uncover and explore contributing root causes including transitions, identity, trauma, and grief and loss.

Carmen has a warm, open, and interactive manner, and practices with culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based lenses.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, Carmen had a 20-year career working for global advertising agencies, and as a consultant. She is also a parent, and has experienced working in the corporate world while raising young children, as well as being a stay-at-home mom.

Due to Covid-19, Carmen is currently only conducting video sessions.
