Professional statement

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Potsdam and my Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University. I have clinical experience working in intensive outpatient programs, residential, homeless services, and outpatient clinics.

I integrate strength-based and holistic approaches in my practice, including person-centered therapy, humanistic therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I dedicate time to exploring and identifying your unique needs, tailoring my approach to meet your individual requirements. I enjoy working with young adults through the transitional stages in their lives.

I specialize in working with individuals processing trauma, stress, life transitions, anxiety, depression, family conflict, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I provide you with a non-judgmental, supportive space to heal and be your authentic self while working through life’s challenges together and discovering your strengths. I focus on guiding you through understanding and processing challenges, enhancing self-awareness, and promoting emotional well-being. I use an empathetic, compassion-focused, person-centered approach toward every conversation to create a safe space for your therapeutic journey.
