Cynthia Johnson(She/Her/Hers)

Cynthia Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Fort Worth, TX with over 20 years of professional experience. She works with those who struggle with their relationship to stress, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Many of her clients engage in unhealthy ways of coping with difficult emotions, which shows that they're facing a deeper challenge than what’s visible at surface level.

Cynthia helps clients to identify the habits that lead to negative outcomes in their well-being, as well as those patterns that lead to conflict with their inner selves and their values. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify what thought patterns lead to feelings of anxiety, fear, and more. Clients also benefit from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (CBT), diving into what’s most important for them in their lives and aligning their decisions around their values.

Cynthia has extensive experience working with children and parents in the foster care system. She believes that healing must come holistically, involving the mind, body, and spirit in conversations with her clients. She is a collaborative therapist who brings structure into her sessions so they can engage with effective personal growth.

Cynthia is currently available for video/remote appointments, with clients located in Texas. She has evening and Saturday morning appointments available scheduling to accommodate your schedule.
