Message to clients

I am passionate about supporting the well-being of the people I serve and have been working in adult mental health for over 10 years. I am a licensed clinical social worker in both Colorado and Connecticut. I believe we are strongest when we connect to the people and activities that encourage us along life's journey and help us to cultivate our unique space and purpose in this world, even in the difficult seasons of life.

Oak & Aspen Counseling is named after these principles: Oak being a symbol of stability and strength, and the Aspen demonstrating flexibility and interconnection. It also represents my own journey from Connecticut to Colorado, and the symbolic trees which honor each place.

I welcome all people, and specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, and aging issues. For those wishing faith-based counseling, my training in mental health and theology allows me to interweave principles from each perspective. I also have specialty experience providing counseling for persons living with early neurocognitive disorders (dementias, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis) and their caregivers.

I honor your courage in supporting your mental health, and would be equally honored to work with you towards achieving your goals.
