Daria Zetlen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Ossining, NY with over 30 years of experience in private practice. She welcomes individual adult clients who are grappling with such issues as relationship concerns, navigating the transition from or into college, substance use concerns, and the loss of a loved one. Additionally, she sees high school students who may be struggling with low self-esteem or social anxiety.
Daria’s approach is equal parts compassionate and collaborative; in sessions, she will often provide psychoeducation throughout the course of treatment to both engage and inform individuals as they confront both short-term and longer-term issues. She also incorporates mindfulness techniques, including those drawn from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which can equip clients with practical tips for their everyday lives.
Daria received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Masters and pre-doctoral degrees from Columbia University and New York university. She looks forward to working with you.
