Hi, I'm Elaina, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who works with adults and adolescents navigating life's challenges. I support clients managing anger, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and bipolar disorder, as well as those seeking a steady, supportive space to better understand themselves and their emotions. Whether you're working through difficult experiences or simply looking for tools to feel more grounded, my goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and tailored to your needs. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT, and psychodynamic therapy, helping you build insight, develop healthy coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that works for you.
I hold a Master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and bring a genuine commitment to compassionate, client-centered care. Therapy is a space for growth and reflection. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to connect and work together.
