Heather Lowrey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has been a therapist for over a decade, and her passion is helping individuals and families live the lives they desire and deserve.
Heather's practice focuses on helping clients identify intimacy avoidant behaviors, and providing support and skills to develop a healthy relationship with one’s self and others. In sessions, clients are encouraged to address – non-judgmentally – the topics so often kept hidden, in order to reduce chronic feelings of guilt and shame.
Heather believes that in order to change behavior, one must first be aware of the underlying beliefs that are influencing it. Clients will have the chance to explore their beliefs about money, food/body and love and sex and how it may be negatively their impacting behaviors.
