Helen Leff(She/Her/Hers)

Helen Leff, LCSW, holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from NYU, and has over 25 years of experience. Additionally, she received certification in advanced training in psychotherapy from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health.

As a psychotherapist with years of experience working at one of the country's leading sexual health centers, Helen specializes in sexual wellness, relationship matters, as well as issues surrounding peri menopause and menopause. Helen has a particular interest in the mind/body connection and Somatic Therapy, which focuses on how emotions appear within the body.

Helen has always been passionate about championing women and commited to issues promoting women's health and welfare. She believes that "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain". Throughout her career as a mental health professional, Helen has endeavored to take a holistic view in understanding the needs of individuals as well as incorporating biopsychosocial factors effecting them. Helen's greatest professional satisfaction comes from helping people develop self-empowerment skills. People can then take greater control of their situations to become their own best ally, advisor, and advocate.
