Message to clients

Hi and welcome to my practice. I'm Jack Cottom a licensed professional counselor is the states of Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. I have been a therapist for more than 10 years and love what I do. I specialize in working with folks around issues of social anxiety, disconnection from community and themselves, lack of confidence, purpose, passion, and LGBTQIA+ issues. My target population is young adults, adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, although I am open to anyone that is interested in healing and getting to a better place in their lives.

I am trained in TF-CBT, CBT, and DBT however I utilize a person center approached. My goal in my practice is to get to know you and assist you with addressing the 'thing' that has you stuck in a certain place whether it's a way of thinking, behaving, trauma, or lack of knowledge and/or skill.

I believe counseling is hugely powerful because through the relationship you are able to gain some awareness about yourself, learn some skills, and implement those skills to live the life that you ultimately want to live. If you are interested in connecting please reach out to me to further discuss.

I am accepting new patients, in person, at my Buckhead location as well as telehealth patients across Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. My availability is M-F 10am-5pm.
