Jenae Spencer's career is driven by compassion and a deep commitment to maximizing people's well-being. Because sleep is so critical to good health, Jenae has made a powerful modality called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) a top priority in her professional training and overall focus. Considered the first-line treatment for adults with chronic insomnia by the American College of Physicians, CBT-I typically takes place over six to 10 sessions, with remarkable results. Jenae also has board certification in biofeedback, another powerful method for counteracting anxiety and other conditions that can show up in the body. As part of that work, she is an expert in heart rate variability (HRV), which is a measure of the variation in time between heart beats and is increasingly seen as a critical gauge of well-being. Some of her clients choose to use a simple wrist strap that pairs with an app to measure HRV and make physiological improvements that impact emotional health.
