Jennifer Brey is a master's level, professional counselor, licensed in Pennsylvania. Jennifer has worked in a variety of treatment settings including inpatient with the dually diagnosed, intensive outpatient for substance abuse and outpatient mental health with trauma specific services. While Jennifer currently only works with adults, she has experience working with survivors of physical, emotional and sexual abuse throughout the lifespan. She has EMDR training and is certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy.

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - Healing painful experiences and memories from the past
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Drug addiction & abuse - Tolerating emotional discomfort; reducing or eliminating reliance on drugs; development of new coping mechanisms for stress and suffering.

PNES-Psychogenic, non-epileptic seizures - Collaborative work will include understanding patterns with the incidence of these episodes, coping skills to better manage stress and prevent episodes, as well as exploration of possible root causes using a CBT framework.
