Jeremi Hanson(She/Her/Hers)

Jeremi Hanson is a Marriage and Family Therapist located in San Francisco, CA. Jeremi’s practice focuses on adults and couples of any orientation. Many of Jeremi’s clients face difficulty living as they are, with layered identities including exploration of sexuality and gender identity and expression. Other clients feel the negative impacts of depression, anxiety, or substance use in their everyday lives. Sometimes, her clients’ mental health leads to physical complaints like headaches, stomachaches, or insomnia.

Jeremi leverages the powerful mind-body connection in her work with clients so they can find peace both physically and emotionally. She practices somatic therapy with roots in polyvagal theory, as well as incorporating several attachment-based elements into her sessions with clients. Clients benefit from parts work, integrating the many different aspects of themselves so they can feel grounded in knowing who they are and how they want to show up in the world.

Jeremi earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She has certificates from the Hakomi Institute and the PACT Institute, and is passionate about exploring with clients what it’s like to explore the world when living authentically and with self-awareness.
