Professional statement

Jillian is a Licensed Master of Social Work with over 6 years of experience in the nonprofit world. Throughout her career, she has worked in leadership and strengths development, helping individuals find the things they excel at both personally and professionally. In addition, she is a Certified Yoga Instructor and enjoys infusing yoga and mindfulness into her sessions with clients. Because her educational background is in macro social work, she uses a holistic systems approach with all her clients, in addition to CBT and DBT methodologies.

Message to clients

I believe you are the expert on your life and I am here to facilitate your growth and healing in a supportive, non-judgmental environment we will create together. I hope you will come as you are to each session, even if it's just to talk about the Taylor Swift song you have on repeat. I believe in moving at the speed of trust, building and developing our relationship so we can make therapy the best possible experience for you.

I will guide you through the thick fog of life and help you discover or rediscover who you are truly meant to be without worrying about the judgment of others.

I address therapy in a laid-back and sometimes humorous manner. If you are looking for a more relaxed, freeing therapy experience, I would love to talk.
