Professional statement

Kim (she.her) is a Clinical Social Worker in Texas whose treatment philosophy is influenced by TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention), attachment theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), relational psychodynamic approaches, and mentalization-based treatment. Kim believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship in order to create a safe space to allow curiosity and insightful introspection. Throughout your experience Kim will help you learn how to become more in tune with your body and mind so that you can master your emotions, thoughts, and feelings in order to create better relationships with yourself and others as you explore past experiences in order to find patterns and world views that you currently hold and that effect the way you operate in the present. Kim strongly believes in using experiential techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and other mind-body techniques that assist in giving you a state of focused attention in which to reach your therapeutic goals. If you are experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, depression, and problems with adjustment Kim will be a great fit for you.
