Professional statement

Hi, I’m Lindsey

I help adults who are overwhelmed with life to rediscover joy and reconnect with the people they love. I believe there’s a reason for why you feel the way you do. I support adults to gain a deeper understanding about why they think, feel, and act the way they do so that they can truly heal. By healing from your past, you can release the stress & fear that has control over your life.

I want to help you to truly relax & live your life in a way that is honest, authentic, and in line with what you believe. Let’s work together to ditch the anxious feelings and help you feel confident that you can handle anything that comes your way.

I provide a space that is non-judgmental, inclusive, anti-racist, and affirming of all identities. Because I offer online therapy, I can work with you no matter where you are in Michigan, Florida, South Carolina or Vermont. I also offer superbills, so you can use your Out-Of-Network benefits. I've got a free calculator on my website that will help you determine the amount your insurance company will reimburse you for OON benefits.

Message to clients

Have you been through something that overwhelmed you to your core? Or have you experienced lots of “little things” that when added up altogether changed you and turned your world upside down?

And now you…

Are constantly feeling on edge, tense, nervous, or jumpy?

Get flashbacks of painful memories and it feels like it’s happening all over again?

Avoid people, places, or activities that remind you of the trauma?

Feel emotionally disconnected or have difficulty feeling positive emotions?

Are afraid to talk about how you feel because it might bring up more than you can handle?

Or maybe you don’t feel like you’ve experienced “Trauma” but something in life doesn’t feel right. You get easily upset, quickly distracted, and fearful over things that never used to bother you before. The hardest part is that you can’t quite figure out when you started to feel this way - or if it’s always been like this.

You’re constantly on alert, trying to gauge the mood of the people around you and walking on eggshells. You are very careful about what you say so you don’t upset or disappoint anyone.

You don’t have to live for everyone else. It’s time for you to feel seen, heard, and supported. Together we can help you get relief from feelings of fear. Trauma therapy can help us get to the root of the issue and learn where this pattern of putting others first started.
